Elle was born in Poland and moved to Germany at the age of 18. In 1996, Elle started her travel agent career in Germany. While living in Europe, she traveled extensively in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Russia and Austria, while also picking up the German, Polish and Russian languages. Elle has also had some very special and unique travel opportunities to the Arctic Circle, Galapagos and Africa. Since moving to Florida in 2004, Elle has flourished in this profession and thoroughly enjoys planning customized travel itineraries, especially to Europe.

Michelle is the fourth generation to work at Hill's Travel Service. She has been working for family's agency full time since 2005. Growing up in the travel industry gave Michelle a great appreciation and love for traveling, visiting places such as Kenya, South Africa, Zimbabwe, France, England, Spain, Italy and the Galapagos. With a French minor and a love of France, she thoroughly enjoys planning vacations to this European destination. After her recent South African honeymoon and destination specialist training, Michelle is very excited about planning vacations to this amazing country and would love to assist you in planning an experience of a lifetime.

My Recent Trips
South Africa:
My husband and I went to South Africa on our honeymoon in June 2007. I cannot say enough great things about this country. There is everything to do from safaris to wine tastings!
Our adventure started in Cape Town where we took day trips around the Cape Peninsula and the wine country. We went to the Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point, Boulders Beach (where the African Penguins live!) and to two South African vineyards where we sampled local red, white and sparkling wines. From Cape Town, we made our way to Victoria Falls. The falls...the beauty and magnitude of the falls are absolutely breathtaking! With a helicopter ride over the falls and through the gorge as our final experience in Victoria Falls, I would say it one of my favorite places I have traveled! As our plane flew over the southern coastline of South Africa, I was so glad we kept the coast/beach area in our itinerary. The beautiful water crashing into the rocks was just like you would see in a National Geographic magazine. What a beautiful part of the country! The last three days were spent on safari in Kruger National Park. WOW!!! From lions, to elephants, to giraffes, to zebra, to a herd of 300 water buffalo, to leopards, we saw it all! What made the experience even greater were our wonderful tracker and guide. They were so knowledgable and had a real passion for their country and tourism, and it made our trip so enjoyable and memorable!

Jean is the daughter of the founder of Hill's Travel Service. She began working at the agency during her high school years and continued during college as well. When Jean married her husband, they moved away from St. Petersburg for 17 years. When they returned in 1968, Jean began to work from home for the travel agency doing clerical work. Then in 1978, she returned to the office working full time. At this same time, her daughter Joan, now president of the agency, started her career here. This same year the agency was incorporated, and Jean was given all of the management and financial responsibilities. Now, Jean is provided with wonderful travel opportunities and really treasures our Virtuoso membership!
